Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using screentest.im (the “Site”) you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, please stop using the Site. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance.

2. The Service

The Site provides in-browser screen testing tools, device inspection guides, an 8-step wizard and local PDF report generation. Everything is free and requires no account.

All tests run locally on your device. We do not provide on-site inspection, manual QC or any offline services.

3. Results Are for Reference Only

All test results, verdict suggestions and inspection reports on the Site are for reference only and do not constitute professional quality-inspection reports, forensic opinions or legal evidence.

Results are affected by browser color management, OS scaling, GPU drivers, cable bandwidth and ambient lighting, and may deviate from your device’s actual state.

When using our results in returns, disputes or purchase decisions, please combine them with the manufacturer’s official diagnostics and platform rules.

4. Provided “As Is”, No Warranty

The service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without any express or implied warranty of accuracy, completeness, continuity or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Site (including but not limited to return decisions and transaction losses).

5. Test Risk Notice

Displaying high-contrast solid test patterns for extended periods on OLED screens can accelerate burn-in. Limit session length and follow the panel maker’s care guidance.

High-brightness patterns may cause eye fatigue or discomfort; users with photosensitive epilepsy should use flicker-type tests (flicker, refresh rate) with caution.

You acknowledge and agree that you perform these tests at your own risk.

6. Inspection Reports

PDF reports are generated locally in your browser by pdf-lib; we do not store or back up report content. Reports are reference documents, and data in share links exists only within the URL itself.

Do not include sensitive personal information in reports or share links.

7. Intellectual Property

The Site’s design, copy, verdict standards and code are the property of screentest.im. You may freely use the tools for personal inspection purposes, but may not mirror the site, scrape and republish it, or resell it commercially.
